1.新加坡国际仲裁中心与上海市、江苏省、山东省律师协会签署谅解备忘录
The Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) is pleased to announce that it has entered into respective Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with the Shanghai Bar Association, Jiangsu Bar Association, and Shandong Bar Association (Bar Associations) to promote international arbitration as a preferred method of dispute resolution for resolving international disputes.Under the MOUs, SIAC will be developing and conducting training programmes or workshops for the members of the respective Bar Associations, to enhance their knowledge of international arbitration law and practice and SIAC. In addition, SIAC and the respective Bar Associations will work together to jointly organise conferences, seminars and workshops on international arbitration in the respective regions of the Bar Associations. The Bar Associations will provide support for major events organised by SIAC in their region and invite key members of their local business and arbitration community to attend and participate in these events.
新加坡国际仲裁中心（SIAC）宣布，已分别与上海市律师协会、江苏省律师协会、山东省律师协会签署谅解备忘录（MOU），以促进国际仲裁成为解决国际争议的首选方法。根据谅解备忘录约定，新加坡国际仲裁中心将为上述各律师协会的成员制定、举办培训项目或工作坊，以增进他们对国际仲裁法律和实践以及新加坡国际仲裁中心的了解。此外，新加坡国际仲裁中心和上述各律师协会将于律师协会所在地区联合举办有关国际仲裁的会议、研讨会和工作坊。对于新加坡国际仲裁中心在各律师协会当地举办的大型活动，律师协会将提供活动支持并邀请当地商界和仲裁界的主要成员参加活动。
2.仲裁女性俱乐部（WIA）发布2023年度报告
仲裁女性俱乐部（WomeninArbitration，以下简称“WIA”）由香港国际仲裁中心于2018年2月倡议发起。该倡议致力于促进女性在国际仲裁及国内相关领域的发展。IA通过举办各类活动和研讨会提供平台供从业者思考和探讨当前热点话题，发展网络和业务关系，并培养下一代的领先女性从业者。
2023年对WIA而言意义非凡。2023年是WIA成立的第五年，而且WIA还推出了“WIACoffeeRouletteSeries”系列活动，旨在为全球仲裁从业者提供平台，促进彼此联系，并鼓励国际仲裁界的跨文化交流。
3.联合国国际贸易法委员会对投资者与国家间争端解决方式进行又一次重大改革
More than 200 representatives of States and international organizations finalized another major reform in investor-State dispute settlement (ISDS) at the 57th session of the UN Commission on International Trade Law, currently being held in New York.
During the second week of the annual session, the Commission adopted in principle the statute that will form the basis for the establishment of an advisory centre on international investment dispute resolution (the “Centre”). Once established and operational, the Centre is expected to provide crucial legal services in the field of ISDS including training and representation support with the aim of enhancing the capacity of States to prevent and handle international investment disputes, especially least developed countries and developing countries. Further preparatory work will be conducted in the coming months to operationalize the Centre, with the Commission closely monitoring the progress.
日前于纽约举行的联合国国际贸易法委员会（UNCITRAL）第57届会议上，200多名国家和国际组织的代表完成了投资者与国家争端解决 （ISDS）的又一项重大改革。在年会的第二周，委员会原则上通过了将作为国际投资争端解决咨询中心成立基础的章程。该中心一旦成立并开始运作，预计将在国际投资争端解决领域提供重要的法律服务，包括培训和提供代表支持，目的是提高各国、特别是最不发达国家和发展中国家预防和处理国际投资争端的能力。未来几个月间，筹备工作将进一步开展并使中心开始运作，委员会也将密切关注相关进展。
4.ICC 宣布仲裁和 ADR 委员会新一届名单
ICC has announced the renewal of Melanie van Leeuwen as Chair of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR for a second term and the appointment of twelve new Vice-Chairs to the Commission's Steering Committee. The new Vice-Chairs will join six current Vice-Chairs serving for a second term. The new composition of the Steering Committee reflects ICC’s ongoing commitment to ensuring balanced representation of established and emerging jurisdictions in dispute resolution, as well as to promoting regional diversity.
国际商会（ICC）宣布续聘MelanievanLeeuwen为国际商会仲裁和替代性争议解决委员会主席，并任命十二名新任副主席加入委员会的指导委员会。新任副主席将与连任的六位现任副主席一起工作。指导委员会的新人员构成反映了国际商会一直致力于确保争议解决中成熟和新兴司法管辖区的代表均衡性，以及促进地区多样性。
5.开罗中心公布新的董事会成员和顾问名单
The Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA) has announced new appointments to its board of trustees and advisory committee, with London-based Herbert Smith Freehills partner Craig Tevendale named as the new chair of the advisory committee.
