Tahota Succeeded in Helping Shandong Commercial Group Issue USD Bonds
Recently, Tahota Law Firm helped Shandong Commercial Group Co., Ltd. issue Reg S 3-year USD bonds with a value of 120 million dollars in Hong Kong successfully. After the bonds were issued, they were listed on Hong Kong Stock Exchange and subject to British laws. This is the first time for Shandong Commercial Group Co., Ltd. to issue foreign bonds, and the first time to issue foreign bonds directly.

Tahota Law Firm Expanded International Business Providing Legal Service in South Asia
From August 6 to 11, 2013, Tahota lawyers were invited to Nepal by Tibet Airlines. Tibet Airlines wanted to do some investigation because it planned to invest in the airline field in Nepal. Tahota lawyers visited the local airline companies where Tibet Airline would invest, Chinese ambassador and counselor in Nepal, Nepal Aviation Tourism Administration, law firms in Nepal’s capital, and many other companies and people. Tahota spent much time on the two domestic airline companies which took the highest market shares in Nepal and even visited the storehouse of one of them. As the accompanying legal consultants doing business investigation, Tahota lawyers paid much attention to such issues as whether Tibet Airlines’ project cooperation model and investment target would be practical and gain the most profit under the local laws, especially laws in the fields of company and airline. Tahota lawyers even visited some local law firms which had rich experience in Nepal aviation, cross-country trade and company business, and had discussion with them about Tibet Airlines’ investment project in Nepal and future cooperation between law firms and lawyers from two countries.
