On August 31, 2025, the First Congress of the Women's Federation of the Sichuan Lawyers Industry was held in Chengdu. A total of 128 female lawyer representatives from the lawyer industry across 21 cities (prefectures) in the province attended the meeting.

Li Min, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairperson of the Sichuan Provincial Women's Federation, and Pan Qifeng, Member of the Party Committee of the Department of Justice of Sichuan Province and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Sichuan Lawyers Industry, attended the congress and delivered speeches. Li Shiliang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Sichuan Lawyers Industry and Chairman of the Sichuan Lawyers Association, read out the "Reply on Establishing the Women's Federation of the Sichuan Lawyers Industry" issued by the Party Committee of the Sichuan Lawyers Industry.

The congress pointed out that the establishment of the Women's Federation of the Sichuan Lawyers Industry is a major and joyful event in the political life of female lawyers across the province, marking that female lawyers in the province now have a warm "family home". Its establishment is an important manifestation of implementing the central and provincial Party committees' requirements for concentrated efforts to promote the "Two Coverages" in emerging fields, a key measure to enhance women's work in the new era, a vivid exploration and successful practice of establishing women's federations under provincial-level industry Party committees, and a fruitful achievement of the in-depth integration of women's work and industry development under the leadership of Party building.

The Women's Federation of the Sichuan Lawyers Industry must earnestly shoulder its political responsibilities, unite and guide female lawyers to deeply comprehend the decisive significance of the "Two Establishments", strengthen the "Four Consciousnesses", enhance confidence in the "Four Matters of Confidence", and uphold the "Two Maintenance". It should effectively play the role of a bridge and link: serve as a "guide" for female colleagues by providing guidance, act as a "caring family member" by paying attention to and caring for their needs, and be a "intimate confidant" by improving service capabilities. It should drive the majority of female lawyers in the province to be practitioners of socialist rule of law, guardians of social fairness and justice, and propagandists of socialist rule of law concepts, so as to set a benchmark and example for the construction of women's federations in emerging fields across the province.

The congress emphasized that the Women's Federation of the Sichuan Lawyers Industry must uphold unwavering political loyalty with a distinct stance, interpreting the original aspiration of women with "resoluteness"; actively perform its duties and take proactive actions, exerting the organizational functions with "responsibility"; focus on the central tasks and demonstrate value, gathering development momentum with "diligence"; cultivate internal strengths and strengthen external connections, enhance capabilities and strive for excellence, showing extraordinary charm with "perseverance", so as to jointly compose a new chapter in the development of women's cause in the province's lawyer industry.

The congress elected members and standing committee members of the First Executive Committee of the Women's Federation of the Sichuan Lawyers Industry. Ni Hong, Member of the Management Committee of our firm, was elected Chairperson of the First Women's Federation of the Sichuan Lawyers Industry, while Li Yuhong, Zhang Kun, Song Lingling, Tang Yingxin, Song Wenting, Liang Fang, Zhou Zhongmei and Mei Hong were elected Vice Chairpersons.

Lawyer Ni Hong stated that under the strong leadership of the Sichuan Provincial Women's Federation and the Party Committee of the Sichuan Lawyers Industry, she will closely focus on the central work of the Party committees and governments, unite and lead female lawyers across the province, actively perform the duties of the Women's Federation, and contribute women's strength to promoting the high-quality development of the lawyer industry and advancing social harmony and stability.

Responsible persons from relevant departments of the Department of Justice of Sichuan Province and the Sichuan Provincial Women's Federation, as well as the Party Committee of the Sichuan Lawyers Industry and the Party committees (general Party branches) of the lawyer industry in 21 cities (prefectures) attended the meeting as non-voting delegates. Representatives from units including the Cyberspace Administration of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee, the Department of Commerce of Sichuan Province, the Department of Transport of Sichuan Province, the Administration for Market Regulation of Sichuan Province, the Sichuan Provincial Post Bureau, the Sichuan Provincial Writers' Association, as well as the Sichuan Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Sichuan Certified Tax Agents Association, and the Sichuan Institute of Certified Public Valuers attended the meeting as observers.
