Michelle specializes in the areas of domestic and cross-border commercial dispute resolution. She is also experienced in corporate practice and international trade matters.

As a former Judge in the Shenzhen District Court, Michelle has managed over 3000 commercial cases, so she has a wealth of experience in commercial dispute resolution. As a lawyer, Michelle has provided legal services for banks, funds, asset management companies, import and export trade companies, cross-border e-commerce platforms and high-net-worth individuals. Michelle is familiar with legal issues arising under the Company Law, Contract Law, Guarantee Law, Tort Law and other laws and regulations.

The types of cases Michelle has handled include equity investment disputes, disputes involving a shareholder's right to know, collection of receivables, disputes in respect of contracts for the international sale of goods, disputes regarding guarantee contracts, disputes arising under financial leasing contracts, disputes involving letter of guarantee fraud, disputes relating to letters of credit, product quality disputes, and applications for recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards or foreign court judgments. The dispute resolution methods involved in such cases include commercial negotiation, mediation, arbitration and litigation. She has undertaken the full range of services in respect of such matters, including developing litigation strategies, conducting legal due diligence, communicating with local government officials, drafting legal reports, advising clients on compliance issues under the Company Law, representing clients in various business negotiations, etc.

Michelle has advised a number of enterprises in the manufacturing, wholesale and retail, accommodation, food and beverage, finance, leasing and commercial services, scientific research and technical services, animal husbandry, apparel, trading, medical devices and education and training industry sectors. In addition, she provides legal services on an annual retainer basis covering corporate governance, contract review, labor and personnel issues, intellectual property, legal training, annual legal work reports, etc.

Michelle works with the Global Legal Services Team at JunZeJun Law Offices. She maintain close cooperation ties with lawyers in the Asian-Pacific region and European Union.

Michelle graduated with a Master of International Law from the University of Sydney and a LLB from Shenzhen University.

Michelle joined Tahota Law Firm since March 2025. Before that, Michelle served for a Shenzhen District Court as a Judge between 2009 and 2015, and worked for JunZeJun Law Offices in 2018 and 2025 as a Partner.
