Our lawyers being shortlisted in the Panel of Arbitrators of Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (Shanghai International Arbitration Center)

As recently reviewed in the Second Meeting of the Fourth Commission of Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (Shanghai International Arbitration Center), the new Panel of Arbitrators and Panel of Mediators will be executed from August 1, 2021, and the new arbitrators and mediators will be employed until April 30, 2026. Tahota's senior partner and partner, i.e. lawyer Yang Jianhong and lawyer Liao Ming, were shortlisted in the Panel of Arbitrators.

Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (SHIAC, hereinafter referred to as "Shanghai International Arbitration Center") is an independent arbitration institution approved by Shanghai Municipal People's Government for establishment in 1988 and registered under the judicial system, aiming at solving commercial disputes with independent, impartial, professional and efficient arbitration services. The new Panel of Arbitrators covers 1115 arbitrators, including 754 from mainland China, accounting for 67.62%, and 361 from foreign countries and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions, accounting for 32.38%. The arbitrators come from 80 countries and regions around the world, including 38 countries along the route of the "One Belt and One Road".
