On October 15, 2014, United Front Work Department of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and Department of Justice, Sichuan Province held “Sichuan Tongxin Lawyer Service Team Legal Aid for Tibet Demonstration Point Creation & Work Advancing Meeting” held in Maerkang County. Jianjun Liu, Deputy Director of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee, Yehong Fu and Jie Liu, section chief and deputy chief of Non-Party Intellectuals Section of United Front Work Department, Changbin, Chen, Inspector of Department of Justice, Sichuan Province and Party Committee Secretary of Sichuan Province Lawyers Association, Huanliang Xia, Inspector of Department of Justice, Sichuan Province, Guiwen Liu and Biao Wang, chief and deputy chief of Lvzheng Notary Public Office of Department of Justice, Sichuan Province, Shoumin Liu, leader of Sichuan Tongxin Lawyer Service Group and chairman of Sichuan Province Lawyers Association as well as persons in charge of eleven sub-groups participated in the meeting. Kexun Hu, Party Branch Secretary of Tahota Law Firm, and Shuanming Li, director of Elite Law Firm took part in this meeting and activity as assistant group leaders of Xinlong Sub-group.

In the advancing meeting, each sub-group delivered speeches on experience communication of each Tibet aid task of Sichuan Tongxin Lawyer Service Group. Kexun Hu, Party Branch Secretary of Tahota Law Firm, introduced experience in a speech titled as “Practicing Social Responsibilities and Actively Advancing Legal Construction of Tibet” in the meeting on behalf of Xinlong Sub-group. Shoumin Liu, chairman of Sichuan Province Lawyers Association, Changbin Chen, Party Committee Secretary of Sichuan Province Lawyers Association and Jianjun Liu, deputy director of United Front Work Department of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee delivered speeches in the meeting in succession and recognized the work of each service sub-group of Sichuan Tongxin Lawyer Service Group.

During the meeting, the representatives viewed and emulated work achievements of Tibet legal aid advancing in Yangrigangsi, Suomo Township, Maerkang County, Adi Village and Maerkang County Middle School on the spot. Lawyers of Tongxin Lawyer Service Group attending the meeting also launched on-the-spot legal publicity and consulting service activities in front of Cultural Palace of Nationalities in Aba Prefecture.
