On September 8, 2024, as one activity of the Fourth Forum of Maritime Silk Road Central Legal District, the 2024 Results Release Session of the Typical Cases of the Belt and Road Legal Service was held in Xiamen, Fujian Province as hosted by the Belt and Road Law Research Center of China University of Political Science and Law under the support of Legal Daily and legaldaily.com. Shen Sibao, President of the Society of International Economic Law, China Law Society, Xu Hua, Deputy Secretary of Political and Legal Committee of Fujian Provincial Committee, Sun Zhiyong, Party Secretary and President of Legal Daily and Zhou Bingjian, Head of the Overall Law-based Governance Research Center attended the event. Lawyer Lin Xiao, a partner of Tahota, was invited to attend this grand event.

The special legal service provided by Lawyer Zhang Tianyi for the acquisition of assets operation right of a Laos project undertaken by China Southern Power Grid was awarded a typical case of “Belt and Road” investment legal service; the compliance service provided by Lawyer Tang Yunxia for a client in obtaining a financial investment license for a non-bank financial company in Pakistan was awarded a typical case of “Belt and Road” compliance legal service; and the whole-process legal service provided by Lawyer Gan Jianming for Svolt Energy Technology (Thailand) Company Limited to introduce Banpu NEXT (a subsidiary of Banpu, a strategic investor of Svolt and an international energy giant) was awarded a typical case of “Belt and Road” innovative legal service. 

Lawyer Lin Xiao, a partner of Tahota, was invited to attend the round-table interview of the Fourth Forum of Maritime Silk Road Central Legal District for and on behalf of Tahota. This session was presided over by Wan Xuezhong, an editorial board member of the Legal Daily and President of the legaldaily.com, during which Lawyer Lin Xiao discussed with the guests ways to improve the legal service capacity of the Belt and Road region.
