All China Lawyers Association has held the second course of the training of "leading talents" of foreign-related lawyers in Beijing from July 31 to August 9, 2014, the lawyer of International Business Department of our firm, Jianming Gan, has attended this 10-day closed training and completed the course successfully as one of 100 foreign-related lawyers’ representatives from 30 provinces and cities all over China and one for 4 lawyers’ representatives of Sichuan province, and he has attended the interview of appointment to be appointed to Europe to attend the six-week overseas concentrated training and practice by All China Lawyers Association.

The training of “leading talents” of foreign-related lawyers held by All China Lawyers Association is the continuation of planning to train more than 300 lawyer talents skillful at international legal business within four years by All China Lawyers Association and is the important step for accelerating training the leading talents of high-quality foreign-related lawyers and improving the foreign-related legal service capability and the international competitiveness of legal service under the present condition that the influence and participation of Chinese lawyers in international affairs, global economic integration and international legal service market don’t fit for the overall goals of opening-up and overall economical development level of China.

This training mainly focused on the overseas investment and cross-border merger and acquisition affairs of Chinese enterprise. In order to ensure the high quality, high efficiency and high standard of this training, All China Lawyers Association employed many foreign-related lawyers with rich experience as the lecturers, and the training contents involved the risk identification and prevention for Chinese enterprises to implement the strategy of “going out”, the disposal of relevant labor dispute and intellectual property dispute during the overseas investment of Chinese enterprises, the financing methods during cross-border merger and acquisition, the antimonopoly investigation during cross-border merger and acquisition, the dispute solution mechanism and the like. At the same time, All China Lawyers Association also employed the leaders from Commerce Department for explaining the protection against Chinese enterprises “going out” and international investment agreement, the leaders from China Development Bank for explaining the legal issues and practice on “going out” and the leaders from State Administration of Foreign Exchange for explaining the management of foreign exchange and capital. In general, the training contents almost covered the all-around key points of risk, financing, route, scheme, focus, dispute solution and the like for Chinese enterprises implementing the strategy of “going out”, with considerable comprehensiveness and perceptiveness. This training has immeasurable value for improving the business level, practicing experience and ability accomplishment of foreign-related lawyers.
