2021-04-01 Views:39313In the first year of the “14th Five-Year Plan”, the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China outlined a grand blueprint for us – to basically establish the rule of law for the country, the government and the society in 2035. In response to the call of the times, we have come to Fujian – a place full of outstanding people.
Fujian, a place endowed with beautiful sceneries, various customs and ancient charming. Its broad, compatible and pioneering marine culture and its open, inclusive and striving humanistic spirit coincide naturally with Tahota’s philosophy of “being poised but not arrogant, being affable but not adulatory”. This is an ideal stage for expanding territory, practicing ideas and displaying talents. Recently, with the approval of the Department of Justice of Fujian Province, Tahota (Fuzhou) Law Firm was officially established. From Chengdu to Fujian, Tahota has crossed mountains and rivers to this miraculous land, and is destined to start a splendid new chapter here.
Capital of Fujian – a fair place producing outstanding people
As the capital city of Fujian Province, Fuzhou is also known as Rongcheng, or “Rong” for short. Built in 202 BC, Fuzhou has a history of more than 2,200 years and has long been the political center of Fujian. It is also the economic, cultural and scientific research center as well as the modern financial center of Fujian, one of the first 14 coastal port cities opened up to the outside world, the gateway of the Maritime Silk Road and one of the three areas of the China (Fujian) Pilot Free Trade Zone. In addition, Fuzhou is also one of the first five trading ports opened up in modern China. Mawei of Fuzhou, the cradle of modern Chinese navy, is the birthplace of Chinese shipping culture.
From 1990 to 1996, President Xi Jinping served as Secretary of the Municipal Committee of the CPC in Fuzhou for six years. He personally organized the compilation of the Economic and Social Development Strategic Plan of Fuzhou for the Next 20 Years, which scientifically outlined the strategic plan for Fuzhou’s development in 3, 8 and 20 years (referred to as the “3820” project) and brought significant and far-reaching impact to the development of Fuzhou at the turn of the century.
A new struggling voyage from Fujian
2021 is the first year of the “14th Five-Year Plan” and also the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.
Centering around the blueprint drawn by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his work in Fuzhou and in accordance with the requirements of the Provincial Party Committee of “being at the forefront and making demonstrations in all-round high-quality development and transcendence”, Fuzhou City is now forging ahead and struggling forward courageously. At this important historical moment, Tahota Fuzhou Office was formally approved for establishment. This is a major move taken by Tahota to respond to the CPC’s call, keep up with the historical trend and further carry out the globalization of our legal services; it also demonstrated our huge confidence in the development prospects of Fujian and Fuzhou – blessed lands with bright future.
